We are also a finalist in this contest, and having done several BP contests, this one is the best we've done. Awesome exposure, good mentoring, big purse, and great contestants. Most every team involved has the potential to be a profitable, viable company.

As a member of one of the teams and as someone interested in applying technology toward the betterment of the environment, I want to thank you for shining a spotlight on this event. I hope the CCTO will be the launching pad for many great clean tech companies.

It is interesting to note that while the lesser-known companies competing in this contest will be carefully evaluated, there are category prizes that are sponsored by some very recognized names that would never voluntarily choose to be so carefully examined.

And the winners for companies piggybacking on this contest for PR's sake are.... (drum roll):
