Investors Seeing Green In Media

It was about two months ago that we launched Earth2Tech — and in blogging years that can feel like a lifetime — but in that time there’s been some significant investments and acquisitions in green media. Today is the latest, with VentureWire reporting that the Cleantech Network, a cleantech trade, media and conference company, is in the process of raising $10 million in financing (hat tip VentureBeat).

Last month, the Cleantech Network made an acquisition of its own, buying cleantech trade publication Inside Greentech. In other deals, recently launched Greentech Media bought Rob Day’s blog, while Discovery acquired TreeHugger for a reported $10 million.
