Code efficiency reduced to kWh? Let’s not miss the big point. If 200 searches saves me a trip to a retailer that is out of stock for an item – maybe I’m carbon neutral. If it takes fewer than 200 searches – I think the carbon balance favors the use of a search, even an “inefficient” one.
