Just before the holidays we took a trip down to Sand Hill Road, and filmed this interview on cleantech investing with Draper Fisher Jurvetson’s partners Steve Jurvetson and Raj Atluru. With 11 deals, and over $40 million dollars in 2007 DFJ was one of the leaders of funding the industry in 2007. We shot the video in the lobby of DFJ for the GigaOM TV Show, which is produced by Revision 3, and thankfully they cut my bad joke about ultimate frisbie. Green energy is definitely the best solution in most cases. Technology like solar energy, wind power, fuel cells, zaps electric vehicles, EV hybrids, etc have come so far recently. Green energy even costs way less than oil and gas in many cases.
