Project Better Place Video: Cute Kids, Electric Cars

Shai Agassi’s well-funded electric vehicle infrastructure startup, Project Better Place, produced this video clip for the YouTube Davos video contest in answer to the question posed: “What one thing do you think that countries, companies or individuals must do to make the world a better place in 2008?” Of course, their answer is electric vehicle infrastructure. But cute kids and green vehicles — what else do viewers want to see?

The videos with the highest ratings will be screened at The World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland (Jan 23 to 27).

Wow! Great video! Very touching.

But I still think swapping batteries to recharge
vehicles is highly problematic. PHEVs are probably the ‘good enough’ solution, especially if powered with biofuels.

Agreed, the video pulls on the heart strings, the business plan, not so much. (And everyone needs a copy editor!)

Green energy is definitely the best solution in most cases. Technology like solar energy, wind power, fuel cells, zaps electric vehicles, EV hybrids, etc have come so far recently. Green energy even costs way less than oil and gas in many cases.
