&lt;p&gt;Sometimes you have to speak up to get through the rhetoric of the status quo for whom change is apparently quite difficult even with a relatively huge carrot in front of them on a stick.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I think it&#039;s a little shameful that the incredible ingenuity that these people used to attain such power somehow disappeared. Surely they should be able to see the vast fortunes to be made, indeed the incredible economic possibilities from entirely retooling our infrastructure? Where is the economic sacrifice? I don&#039;t see it.&lt;/p&gt;
