It goes 'green' for green's sake. The A/C will be running when there is nobody needs it. It can't even reduce the consumption of oil.</p> <p>Compare this to building a solar roof over a parking lot. First of all it shield the car from heat and elements. The power generated will actually be used to offset the power need of a building.
