As of today; they can offer anticorrosive coatings in gold (thinner and more compact layers than competitors) and ceramic coatings to 1/10 of the traditional cost. In the relatively near future they will also offer coatings in a new version of Maxphase for flow plates.</p> <p>Maxphase is used to replace gold on electrical contacts. The most recent deal: a global player on the mobile telephone market has recently placed an order on two coating systems (Reelcoaters) in order to replace gold on a number of applications/contacts in one volume-product.
