i think governor palin is being used by mccain just because she is a women. If you sit back and listen to her points she is such good liar on most of her issues. She evades questions that are being directly asked. She only brings her women hood to the ticket. And mccain is running with that only. If mccain were to die while in office governoe palin would not have the tools to run this country.

If "energy is a foundation of national security", then the Iraq war is for OIL, right? None of the other excuses that Bush put forward were true, isn't it?

Palin gets grilled about her foreign police experience, while Obama basically gets a pass for having absolutely zero foreign policy experience. As a VP candidate, she has more experience than Obama, and he's running for President!

Some credential if you are way off in your statistics:

Gov Palin says “as the governor of this state that produces nearly 20 percent of the U.S. domestic supply of energy”

The official U.S. Government energy statistics say Alaska produced 3.5% of U.S. Energy:

http://tonto.eia.doe.gov/state/state_energy_profiles.cfm?sid=AK

See prod under reserves and supply
