		<description>&lt;p&gt;The logic here seems flawed.  The company says it&#039;s going to donate 50% of profits to environmental causes.  So let&#039;s see - that leaves 50% they keep as their &quot;greenwashing fee&quot;.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The idea that you can &quot;save the planet&quot; by purchasing or visiting a .eco domain is completely absurd to me.  It&#039;s right up there with &quot;energy saving search&quot;.  These fake eco solutions are more about appeasing our collective consumptive guilt then actually doing anything to improve the planet.  But they actually do harm because they allow people to believe their doing something when really they are doing nothing.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;If we&#039;re going to address the enormous problems the world now faces, we need to be honest with ourselves and accountable for our actions and their impact on the planet.&lt;/p&gt;

		<description>&lt;p&gt;I really do not think the .eco domain will do anything but cost money to people who own websites as you want to buy a .eco domain to protect your brand. I know if I would be starting a new website that has to do with the climate and environment I would go with a .com since most people will remember that and it is the norm.&lt;/p&gt;
