thought I left a comment here already, but here goes again...my misgivvings mostly

This goes in placve of what we normally carry in a trunk. SWhy not just integrate it into the car? What voltage and how WILL it interface with the grid? seems until they know this, they can do very little to flesh out the actualities of the system except to sketch in a black box and say "components go here." And that bit about carrying your account with you....do I (A)charge at the girlfriends house on an overnite, but get billed at home? Or do I (B)merely get to use it at real high volt, high amp charging stations? If A, then its a charger, if B then it is a complicated charge card, not a charger, that I get. The card should fit in the wallet, not the trunk.

Thanks for sharing... I can't wait to get a electric car myself...

We're just waiting for a few more to get on the market and it will be time to replace our Honda... I'm hoping that the volt will be a good choice or the prius... the rebates are definitely a great step in putting more people in these cars.

If just saw this today as well (hybrid government rebate - http://www.hybridmile.com/news/government-rebate-hybrid/) I hope that these get extended into 2010 and really they should be available till every single gas car is off the road.
